- Write down the wrong name and the name you want to change it to on paper: Clearly document the incorrect name and the desired new name on a piece of paper
- Visit a computer cafe or CBT center: Go to a computer cafe or CBT center near you and inform them that you want to perform a JAMB name correction. Provide them with the necessary details, such as your JAMB registration number and the corrected name
- Pay the required fee: There is a fee associated with the JAMB name correction process. The fee is N2,500
- Wait for the name to be updated: The name change will not be reflected immediately on the JAMB portal. It may take some time for the change to propagate on the portal and your documents. Check your profile after 10 minutes, as the effect would have been made
