The time it takes for a JAMB change of name to reflect after the request has been submitted can vary.
According to our experience, the change of name may not reflect immediately. It is mentioned that the name won’t start showing immediately, and it will take some time to propagate on the portal and your documents.
Candidates are advised to check their profile after 10 minutes, as the effect would have been made by then.
Additionally, there is no fixed time for the change to reflect, and it can take 24 hours or sometimes a couple of days.
Therefore, candidates should be patient and allow for some time for the change of name to be processed and reflected in their JAMB profile and documents.
